I was able to skip outta work this afternoon and pull a few turns at the Canyons. Obviously, there wasn’t as much snow as there is in the Cottonwoods, but there was enough to fill in the ‘loose’ gaps of the Canyons. I was joined by the delightful Nate Brunson, although he is a bit snowboard challenged, he was able hang with a telemark kneedropper.

All in all, its says something about the thousands of people on vacation this week that neglected to enjoy the dump of snow that graced Utah today. Something tells me that I would never see this at Snowbird. An empty array of chairs at 2 o’clock when the snow is falling at about a rate of one inch an hour…
