Utah’s identity crisis was in full effect on Saturday. After gorgeous weather for most of the week (it was warmer here, upon arrival from Mexico), some clouds dumped over a foot of snow in Little Cottowood Canyon. Due to mexican sunburn, I was able to contribute a little to the total accumulation of snow. Christian Castellani made his debut with a handful of classic helicopters that were no match for my stylish ‘Spread Eagles’ (these jumps were too powerful for any lense).

He also managed to huck himself off of this 10 footer:

Ironically, the ski patrol was trying to keep us safe from the avalanches…in may. They also did a great job of keeping us out of the Alta boundary…(insert classic Wayne’s World quote here).
