Tuesday Night at Wrigley Field

One of the Toronto Blue Jays greatest baseball players ever hooked me and my friends up with some tickets to the Giants vs. Cubs game. Willie Upshaw has probably coached me in more sports then any other person I know. I played my first Nintendo game and witnessed my first suntanning bed at his house. There are a lot of fond memories of getting in trouble with my buddy Brock, his son, at the many Upshaw places (they liked to move around Fairfield). I witnessed HBO for the first time there and saw my first boat that was only meant for land (insiders will laugh). Needless to say, it was a pleasure growing up in the Upshaw household.

Therefore, it was a great surprise to be able to watch Willie coach first base for the San Francisco Giants. The Giants ended up beating the hometown Cubs, although they won the next two. Bonds took a lot of heat at the stadium, but he persisted and hit two more homers today.

Thank you, Willie, for the Tickets.
