One of my best friends from growing up, Paul Sandberg, has just returned from an academic trip to Madagascar. Paul is at the University of Colorado Boulder studying to get his PhD in anthropology. This brought him to Madagascar to study the isotopes off the trees. Since he is the academic, he would do a better job of explaining the details of this trip. Maybe he can grace us with an extensive comment.
