The Chicago Film Festival has been going on for most of the week. We were able to catch a movie yesterday. The film is in two categories, World Cinema and Cinema of the Americas. Under the Same Moon (La Misma Luna) was a great movie. Going into it, I thought that the majority of the plot was given away through most of the write ups and the trailer, however it turned out to fulfill its expectations and portray a heart-full scenario that probably occurs a lot around the Mexican and American borders. It gave great insight into the lives of a lot of immigrants. This movie is suspect to appear at the Sundance Film Festival, to which I shall be attending again. Keep an eye out for it.
