I had the esteemed pleasure to witness my first WWE wrestling event this Tuesday. It was probably one of the most cultural things that I have done in 2008. The ECW and Smackdown were the events that night. And although, I didnt know the names of any of the modern day wrestlers, I couldnt help but remember the ones that I idolized growing up. Like Jake “The snake” Roberts, Andre the Giant, Sgt. Slaughter, Macho Man Randy Savage, Piston Honda, King Hippo, and Bald Bull. This magical night brought me back to my youth and it reminded me of the better half of society. The half that goes to such events.
