Last year, I spent St Patrick’s Day skiing at Park City. This year, we took the urban approach and got a little more cultured. The day became an event when one of Ryan and I’s good friends from Studying abroad at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand made an appearance. Bryan Haggerty and a couple of his coworkers ventured from Cleveland to the biggest city in the midwest. Haggerty now works for Rustic Pathways and runs the show for their Thailand programs. He brought a Chilean and a New Meixcan. We spent the day at a classic Irish pub on the northside of Chicago. They entertained us with cultural music and dance. I jigged, it was great. It was an enjoyable day and I am glad that our boy could make it up to us, while he was still in the states. I will have to make it Thailand to continue the tour. Some pics of the day:

Look at the pictures of the boys on St Patrick’s Day and pick whihc one you would do business with. Think of the discussion at the airport. First impressions make a big deal and they last a lifetime but can be sown in ten seconds.
