First Cubs Game

The first game of the season had similar weather to what it is like in the Chicago fall. At a certain point during the game, I could see my breath. It was cold. To celebrate Mr. Schirmang’s 28th birthday we held Old Style beer for the entire tenure of the cubs victory over the Pirates. It was a great appetizer for things to come. The evening continued to the NorthSide for a lovely couples dinner party. The next thing I know we were at a German bar and I was parading through the restaurant/bar area with an invented tambourine/cowbell instrument attached to a cane. It was the best approach to live polka that I had ever encountered. It was an day that could have only been better with a game of boccie. Some pics:
