Hi, its been a while and I have been slow to post. The family got together in Utah for Sundance this year. All of us got to enjoy some skiing and a few good movies. Below are links to the movies that I went to.
Earth days was probably the best movie that I saw. It showed the history of environmentalism up until about the point that I was born. I never knew that Jimmy Carter installed solar panels to the White House and Ronald Reagan tore them down. I always had a decent perception of Reagan, until I saw this movie. His republican era and belief in the “American Dream” destroyed years of environmental progress.
The week in Utah was great. Even though it rained a few days, instead of snow, I still enjoyed the weather better then Chicago winters. I was able to ski a few days at the Canyons and Snowbird. The storm hit as I was leaving, but I got a few turns in before I left.
This is the only picture from Sundance.
